This is how we started, with just a reunion and now we are working on a documentary about how gentrification is changing our cities.
As Gentrification continues to be the main topic in our community we need to document our lives as part of the history of Newark New Jersey. Franklin Delano Roosevelt Opened in 1947. It has been renamed in honor of, Millard E. Terrell, a longtime FDR tenant association president who was also the first public housing tenant appointed to the Newark Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, which he was in the mid-70s by then-Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson.
Coming out after 40
We want to talk about subjects that matter to women over 40. Let us have an open conversation and how society makes it difficult for people to be who they want and need to be.

Timeless Pain
Episode 1: Emily Rose Love is not blind forever, it just takes longer to admit that we deserve better. At times we resource to violence, although is not the ultimate goal. I wrote and directed this simple short. Somewhere out there someone can relate and find help before is too late. Domestic Violence is not a women-only issue, but women are more likely to be abused and seek help. It is difficult for men to seek help. Men already feel emasculated, and talking about it will feel like weakness on their behalf.
